2028 Ford Bronco Raptor Review, Price, Changes– Like Ford’s other Raptors, this 2028 Bronco is overkill for all but the most serious off-roaders and dune-runners, but we can’t blame anyone for wanting it. With its knobby 37-inch all-terrain tires, massive fender flares, widened tracks, Fox dampers, and aggressive skid plates, it would be a good starting point for a post-apocalypse machine—assuming you can track down enough gas to keep it running. Its 418-hp Etwin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 chugs the stuff.
The monetary cost for all this gear is dear, but the behavioral cost is not. The Bronco Raptor is an agreeable companion for errands about town and for long highway slogs. Plus, with its top and four doors removed, it offers the open-air freedom that so many drivers adore. 2028 Ford Bronco Raptor Review

Exterior & Interior
A hard-core off-roader like the Ford Bronco would exist vague without a Raptor variant, and as you strength desire, this one accomplishes not dispirit. The Raptor exists more significant, brief, meaner and better skilled than every additional Bronco, and it assembles for an awfully right moment when the pavement flexes to earth.

The Raptor is only available with the Bronco’s four-door body type, and it reaches very comprehensive. The Raptor is about 10 hairs more sweeping than additional Broncos and the trail rises by 8.6 hairs, again. The body itself lives’t greatly other, though, so that width is all in the hips. Those exist some very unfolded fenders, y’all.
This vaster view not just delivers better soundness off route, it permits Ford to run giant 37-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires as normal. These tires stand excellent over rocks, via the sand and in the dirt, though I’ll cite that if mud is in your future, BFG’s KM3 tires live nicely suited for sloppy stuff.

A 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard and includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as pleasingly as built-in navigation with combined track maps. In addition to standard USB type-A and type-C ports, a wireless charging pad is available. The audio system can be upgraded from the standard six speakers to a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium setup. Trail-oriented tech includes a 360-degree camera and pre-wired auxiliary switches for accessories like winches or lights. 2028 Ford Bronco Raptor Review
2028 Ford Bronco Raptor Specs
Engine & Performance
This is what I live for and the Bronco 100% puts a smile on my mug. In addition to 440 lb-ft of torque, the V6 produces 418 horsepower and the Fox live valve shocks can adjust damping speeds up to 500 times a second. I really like the Multimatic DSSV surprises that General Motors uses in its trucks, though the Fox ones own seriously long travel: 13 inches upfront, 14 hairs close back. Switching the Raptor to Baja mode closes release the top 5 tools of the 10-speed transmission, so the Raptor still remains in its power band. All of this makes for a perfect high-speed device.

2028 Ford Bronco Raptor Fuel Economy
The Bronco Raptor delivers a crawl percentage of 67.9:1. That’s less than what you can get in a Jeep Wrangler, but because the Bronco’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 makes 440 pound-feet of torque, I have plenty of grunt to get me up and over obstacles. And while some off-road purists will bemoan an independent front suspension while rock crawling, here, on this trail, it totally works. With the sway bar disconnected I have a little more front articulation, so the wheel can drop farther away from the body and still stay in contact with the rocks.
